MTV Oy's TV channels, web media and radio channels

A cooperation agreement specifies the annual cooperation between MTV Oy and the client for the period of the agreement. The period of the agreement is a maximum of 12 months.

The cooperation agreement can consist of three separate entities with own investment volumes and benefits:

  • TV advertising of MTV3, AVA, pay tv, MTV's internet media and tailored cross-media advertising solution
  • Sub-channel television advertising.
  • MTV Radio advertising

These three volumes define the total volume of MTV Oy cooperation agreement. The client is seen to fulfill the agreement volume when the total volume is reached. The entities that are agreed in the cooperation agreement accumulate the total volume of MTV Oy.

Definition of a group

The agreement covers all the companies within a group (minimum ownership 50%).

If the investment level of spending on the MTV Oy's is less than that estimated in the cooperation agreement, the general MTV Oy sales terms in force at that time shall apply. Such being the case MTV Oy shall, for the excess discount granted, send an invoice to the customer or to the media agency used by the customer in accordance with the agreement between MTV Oy and the media agency.

If a customer enters into an agreement in which the level of spend for the different media in the MTV3 product range is not specified, the customer’s cooperation agreement discount percentage for all media is based on the net spend table below. Special Television and Internet solutions (e.g. program sponsorship) accrue in terms of the cooperation agreement, but no cooperation agreement discount is granted for these.

If a customer wishes to make a separate commitment with mtv.fi (includes also webtv-service Katsomo and m.mtv.fi) , then the Internet cooperation agreement discount percentage will be based on the net spend table below. In this case the cooperation agreement discount percentage of the MTV3 channel will be determined from the total spend on all media in accordance with the above table.

Sub-channel's television advertising cooperation agreement discount percentage is based on the following net spend table. Special television advertising solutions (e.g program sponsorship) accrue in terms of the cooperation agreement, but no cooperation agreement discount is granted for these.
